Hi, I am Daniel Huertas, born in Lima, Peru. As a child, inspired by Disney and Warner Brothers cartoons, I created and gave gifts of books filled with drawings to parents and friends for their birthdays (birthday gifts were cheap hehehe). I had a vision of myself as an animator from a very early age.

Even though I wanted to be an animator, that career goal took a backburner to studies in Transport Engineering. Quite a difference, wouldn't you say? Well, not really. Engineering fed my passion for creating even more.

Although I went through major changes in life, studying engineering, music, singing and playing soccer, all these experiences have added richness to my background and have allowed me to perceive the world in a different light. This is the light I want to bring to my work as an animator.

Finally I moved to Canada to start a new life with the love of my life. I pursued studies in 3D animation and started a new career. Today I am proud to say that I followed my dream to be an animator.
